Executive Function Coaching

…declutter and motivate your brain!

Executive function skills are absolutely necessary for goal setting, organization and following through with an organized plan. These skills are needed in order for us to be flexible if plans change and help us problem solve, create a different plan and complete a task and self-regulate and manage impulsivity that keeps us from making mistakes and poor decisions. Solid executive function skills require us to learn from past experiences and apply that knowledge to new experiences. Attention, memory, impulse control, organization, planning, and problem solving are the executive function difficulties that can interfere with your ability to be successful at school, work and in your community.

Together, we will determine the why and the how of moving forward to be successful even though school and work and social relationships are challenging.

I work with children and adults who have difficulty saying what they want to say. Challenges in communication are caused by many different reasons and I provide an evaluation and treatment plan that will support development and rehabilitation of speech and language.

Depending on your communication needs, we will work together and include your family to make sure all the skills we target in our therapy time is also put into your daily life as that is when communication really matters!
