A little about me…
I’ve been working as speech language pathologist for over 20 years. I quickly discovered my passion in focusing on all things brain starting with my work providing service to children who have autism and their families. I developed an appreciation and understanding in the need for holistic therapy and the necessity to involve the family and the environment as this is critical for long term success.
As my professional journey continued, I expanded my passions into working with people of all ages who have cognitive needs which includes early childhood development, autism spectrum disorders, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, those who’ve suffered a brain injury, concussion (one or multiple), stroke, dementia and various neurological conditions.
I received her mater’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1999.
Immediately following graduation, I moved to San Francisco and worked in private practice and within the San Francisco school district focussing on diagnosis and treatment of children with autism.
In 2005, I moved to London to pursue my dream of living abroad and continue my specialization of diagnosis and treatment of children with autism in multiple settings (i.e. clinic, specialized school for children with autism, age 15-12 and special day classes within schools).
I moved back to Idaho to the Wood River Valley in 2009. I began working at St. Luke’s hospital where I treated individuals in the infant toddler program, home health, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. It was here that I was able to rediscover my love of cognitive devlopment and treatment for all ages.
I opened Integrative Therapy Connection in 2018 and has focused my career on all things brain since!
